HERITAGE WALKS

Heritage Walks are a great opportunity to explore the history of your local area, its quirks, development over the centuries, architecture, interesting & notable characters, important institutions, religious & migration trends, street art, industry, contemporary developments and the list goes on… You will also meet like minded neighbours and members of your community, with shared interests and appreciation for your area.

I am currently building up a list of walks around the south west of London in the boroughs of Wandsworth, Richmond, Kensington & Chelsea, as well as historically rich areas of the capital such the City of London, Royal Westminster, Spitalfields, the Docklands and so on. More walks will be rolled out in 2021.

I book walks on a monthly basis, please refer to calendar below. These can be joined with a larger group, but I also offer private walks for families, groups of friends/businesses/hobbies, corporate events, private parties and celebrations. I can also prepare a walk for a specific area or theme even if not listed below upon request.

Walks can be booked via Eventbrite or Facebook. I also offer cash and bank transfer tickets purchases, for these contact me directly.

I have much experience working with children and I am conducting regular walks with a number of private and public schools in the area. If you are interested in a heritage walk for your geography or history students, contact me. I can customise these walks to fit your curriculum and I can offer museum/gallery visits.

During periods of Covid-19 pandemic restrictions I am operating walks in accordance to government regulations and conduct my own health and safety assessment per walk.
